SMS Consent & Opt-In
This page documents how consumers provide consent to receive SMS text messages from Verlux Financial.
Overview
Verlux Financial sends SMS text messages only to consumers who have affirmatively opted in to receive them. SMS consent is always optional, is never pre-selected, and is never required in order to request information or submit a form.
SMS consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Verlux Financial sends SMS only after the consumer affirmatively opts in.
SMS consent is specific to Verlux Financial. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in/consent information are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. The sections below document each channel through which a consumer may currently opt in.
Request information & SMS opt-in
Use the form below to contact Verlux Financial. SMS consent is optional — you may submit this form without agreeing to receive text messages. You will only receive SMS messages if you check the Text Message Consent box.
01Meta / Facebook / Instagram Instant Forms
Verlux Financial advertises on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). A consumer may opt in through a Meta Instant Form as follows:
- A consumer voluntarily responds to a Verlux Financial advertisement and opens a Meta Instant Form.
- The consumer enters their contact information, including a mobile phone number.
- Meta sends a one-time SMS verification code to confirm the consumer has access to the phone number entered.
- The consumer is then shown a separate Text Message Consent section. Marketing and non-marketing SMS consent checkboxes are unchecked by default.
- The consumer must actively select the applicable checkbox(es) if they choose to receive SMS messages.
- Verlux Financial only sends SMS communications to consumers who have affirmatively opted in.
The one-time verification code confirms that the consumer controls the phone number entered. Phone-number verification does not, by itself, constitute SMS consent. SMS consent is only given when the consumer actively selects the separate, unchecked Text Message Consent checkbox.
02VerluxFinancial.com inquiry form
Consumers may also opt in through the inquiry form on verluxfinancial.com. On this form:
- The general authorization to contact the consumer (by phone and email to respond to the inquiry) is separate from SMS consent.
- SMS consent is a separate, optional, unchecked checkbox.
- The consumer can submit the inquiry form without agreeing to receive SMS messages. Entering a phone number alone does not enroll a consumer in text messaging.
The SMS consent checkbox on the website inquiry form reads:
Text message consent (optional). I agree to receive SMS text messages from Verlux Financial at the mobile number I provided, including messages about my request, appointments, enrollment and application updates, customer service, and — where I have opted in — marketing. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Opt-out & help
Consumers who have opted in may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message from Verlux Financial. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at info@verluxfinancial.com. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
